Spirax Group strengthens collaboration with Microsoft to drive AI innovation and accelerate customer value creation
Spirax Group has deepened its relationship with Microsoft to accelerate its digital and AI-driven strategy. The collaboration integrates several Microsoft solutions including Azure, Azure OpenAI Service, Azure AI Search, Azure CosmosDB and Microsoft 365 Copilot to drive productivity, innovation and sustainability across Spirax Group’s three Businesses.
Building on an established relationship, Spirax Group is working to develop AI use cases that deliver more value for customers and empower its 2,200 direct sales engineers. The collaboration is a key component of the Group’s Digital Strategy, enabling AI and IoT innovations to optimise learning and deepen customer insights.
Maria Wilson, Spirax Group’s Digital Director emphasised the significance of the integration: “As part of our Digital Strategy, we aim to accelerate customer value creation and growth by integrating Microsoft’s Azure AI solutions and partner network.
“This includes working with Microsoft and its digital consultant Publicis Sapient, through the Microsoft Innovation Hub, to develop an AI assistant that serves our highly specialised application knowledge on demand. This will provide Spirax Group’s direct sales engineers with an enhanced ability to solve customer problems, as well as reducing the overall time to value in role for new sales colleagues. The AI solution is powered by Azure OpenAI and a minimum viable product (MVP) is already underway.”
Jed Griffiths, Chief Digital Officer, Microsoft UK, said: “Integrating Microsoft Azure AI capabilities and cloud platforms enables Spirax Group to transform its operations and deliver greater value to its customers. Spirax Group is also harnessing the power of AI for productivity, efficiency, and sustainability gains, while creating a platform for future innovation.”
