At the end of 2023, our Group General Counsel and Company Secretary to the Board, Andy Robson, signalled his intention to retire, after 13 years with the Group and will leave by the end of the year.

During his tenure, Andy has been a member of the Group Executive Committee (GEC) and supported the Board. He has played an important role in the evolution of our Group through enabling the successful purchase of 16 of our companies, as well as establishing and growing the Group Legal function.

We are grateful to Andy for everything that he has achieved and wish him well as he retires from his full-time executive career with the Group.

Following the conclusion of our search for a successor, I am delighted to announce that Céline Barroche will join Spirax Group this summer, as Group General Counsel and Company Secretary to the Board, as well as a member of the GEC.

A UK qualified Solicitor and Chartered Company Secretary, Céline brings over 25 years’ legal and management experience to our Group having held senior roles including as Group Legal Counsel and Group Company Secretary in large, listed UK Companies.

Céline is currently General Counsel at Allied Universal International, where she is responsible for the delivery of legal services in 85 countries. She is a member of the International Executive Team and Chair of the International Ethics Committee as well as Secretary to the Board of G4S Limited (part of the Allied Universal International business).

We are delighted that Céline will be joining our leadership team later this year and know that we will benefit greatly from her significant experience of leading legal and governance functions, her tremendous knowledge of international law, strategic insights and passion for fairness, equity and inclusion.
